Il centro Italia continua a tremare: terremoto nella notte all’Aquila
A nightmare that seems to show no signs of ending. Central Italy continues to shake. Last night, in L’Aquila, a new earthquake of magnitude 4.0 occurred. No damage to property or people. The news came from Ansa and was confirmed by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology.
New possible earth movements are not excluded. The shock occurred at 4:13, the earthquake was also felt in the Marche region. The earthquake was preceded by three others of lesser intensity. At 1:07 in Visso, in the province of Macerata, an earthquake of magnitude 2.0 occurred, followed by another, in the same province, in Ussita of 2.4. Also in Macerata, in Monte Cavallo, at 3:57 a stronger earthquake of 2.5 occurred. After the one that occurred in L’Aquila, earthquakes also affected Calabria and Sicily in the early morning with two shocks of 2.7 in San Giovanni in Fiore (Cosenza) and Zafferana Etnea (Catania).
Just a few days ago, for his birthday, Roberto Baggio visited the areas hit by the chain of earthquakes in Norcia and Amatrice, celebrating his 50th birthday there. The champion could not hide his emotion, he thanked everyone and gave expressions of esteem for the courage and tenacity of the local populations in the face of such tragedies.
